蛇鵰、蛇鵰高聲叫，
春夏天空真熱鬧，
呼朋引伴飛高高，
一巢只有一個寶，
地上蛇兒快點逃。

Spring and summer skies so full of cheer.
Soaring high with friends in flight,
One chick per nest, a precious sight.

【生態介紹】
蛇鵰俗稱大冠鷲，屬於鷹科蛇雕屬，是台灣常見的大型猛禽，為第二級保育類動物，體長65-74公分，翼展長度150-169公分，主要活動於2000公尺以下的次生林和原始森林。
The Crested Serpent Eagle, It belongs to the Accipitridae family, within the snake eagle genus, commonly known as the “big crested eagle” in Taiwan, is a large raptor and a Class II protected species. It has a body length of 65-74 cm and a wingspan of 150-169 cm. This species primarily inhabits secondary and primary forests below 2,000 meters in elevation.
每年春夏2-5月是繁殖期，位於丘陵地的校園環境，在晴朗溫暖的早晨9～12點時，常可見到牠們利用熱氣流在天空盤旋，一邊翱翔一邊鳴叫「忽悠…忽悠…」，藉由響徹雲霄的呼喚聲尋找配偶。牠們喜歡在森林近水邊的樹冠築巢，以捕捉蛇、鼠、蛙、蜥蜴等爬蟲類和兩棲類為主食。
Between March and May, during its breeding season, these eagles can often be seen soaring over hilly school environments between 9 AM and 12 PM on warm, sunny mornings, using thermal currents to glide effortlessly. As they fly, they emit their distinctive “woo-oo… woo-oo…” calls, echoing through the sky as they search for mates. They prefer to nest in the canopy near water sources and mainly prey on snakes, rodents, frogs, lizards, and other reptiles and amphibians.

四年級/張晨睿：今天大冠鷲飢餓地翱翔著，深藍色的天空，感覺非常飢餓。

四年級/李兆順：大冠鷲的天空看起來陽光普照，天氣很晴朗，我感覺牠很像在五光十色的繽紛中。

五年級/黃慧茹：我覺得是大冠鷲在早上的天空中自由的飛翔。

六年級/李德恩：我做的大冠鷲的天空全是藍色，我感覺很自由。
Li, Te-En: “The eagle’s sky in my creation is completely blue, and I feel free.”
六年級/曾宥維：大冠鷲的天空是藍天，牠飛過了藍色的晴天，感覺開心！
Tseng, Yu-Wei: “The eagle soars through a bright blue sky, feeling happy!”
六年級/童詩涵：我畫的大冠鷲是飛翔在山與山之間的山谷𥚃，天上晴空萬里，十分悠閑。
